Our discovery program was designed to be a safe, creative, and fun training environment for younger athletes.
In each session, athletes will use creative games that explore movement, develop coordination, balance, rhythm, and awareness. As well as basic movement skills such as locomotion, jumping/landing, core stability, and lower body/upper body awareness.
Studies show that developing basic fundamentals of movement and fitness at the “tween” years (9-12yo) sets up young athletes for a long and safe athletic career. It also builds a great foundation of movement skills that will benefit them as they develop into mature athletes.
Once competent in the movements we use daily athletes may graduate into the next program. As our athletes evolve, so does their training.
Our discovery program is recommended for novice to intermediate, elementary school-aged athletes who have little to no experience within an athletic training setting.
